Ibrahim Fibres Limited – Textile Spinning Plants

Textile Spinning Plants of Ibrahim Fibres Limited consist of four plants:

  • Textile Plant – I
  • Textile Plant – II
  • Textile Plant – III
  • Textile Plant – IV

At present installed capacity of all these textile plants is 240,192 spindles.

These plants are equipped with Real Time Ring Monitoring System (RTRMS), USTER ring expert, USTER lab expert, Spin vision, Coner pilot for online monitoring and analyzing to facilitate production and efficiency while maintaining quality parameters. Moreover, auto doffing systems and link version solutions have been installed on the spinning and winding machines to automate the manufacturing process. The other salient features of these Plants are as hereunder.

Textile Plant – I

Constantly upgrading plant and machinery since initial operations in 1980 (Ibrahim Textile), the present manufacturing operations of Textile Plant - I, have a total installed capacity of 54,720 spindles. The plant is divided into two units located within the same premises.

Unit I has been recently upgraded in 2016, consists of 35,280 spindles (21 ring spinning frames of 1,680 spindles each) with link winding solution and roving transport system from Zinser Schlafhorst, Germany

Unit II consists of 19,440 spindles (18 frames of 1080 spindles each) from Marzoli, Italy with cone-winding of Schlafhorst, Germany.
In 2004 the Company replaced the entire back process with the most modern blow room having blendomat with chute feed system, high production cards, draw frames and roving frames imported from Truetzchler and Zinser well reputed German suppliers of textile machinery.

Textile Plant – II

The rapidly growing demand for quality yarns being produced by Ibrahim prompted the group to add another manufacturing facility; Textile Plant – II (A.A. Textiles) in 1984. The present manufacturing operations of Textile Plant II have a total installed capacity of 40,608 spindles divided into two units.

Unit I gone through major modernization operation in ring and cone winding section during 2002 and in Back Process during 2011 consists of 19,008 spindles (18 frames of 1,056 spindles each) from Marzoli, Italy, with cone-winding of Savio, Italy and back process provided by top line suppliers of the World i.e. Oerlikon Schlafhorst and Truetzschler Germany.

Unit II gone through major modernization operation in 2004 and afterwards in 2014, consists of 21,600 spindles (18 ring spinning frames of 1,200 spindles each on) from Marzoli, Italy with cone-winding of Schlafhorst, Germany. These ring frames are linked to auto cone-winding machines through link version solution. This unit has gone through major modernization operation in Back Process during 2014-15, consists of two blow room lines for Cotton/Polyester, high productions cards, draw frames, combers, super lap and roving frames imported from Truetzchler Germany.

Textile Plant – III

Ever increasing demands prompted further expansion in manufacturing of yarns. Textile Plant – III (Zainab Textile) started operations in 1989 with a total installed capacity of 38,400 spindles. The present manufacturing operations of Textile Plant III have a total installed capacity of 44,544 spindles divided into two units.

Unit I gone through major modernization operation in 2007, consists of 19,968 spindles (16 frames of 1,248 spindles each with auto doffing system) from Zinser, Germany with cone winding of Schlafhorst, Germany. These ring frames are linked to auto cone-winding machines through link version solution.

Unit II This unit consist of 24,576 spindles (16 frames of 1,536 spindles each) with link winding solution being imported from Zinser Schlafhorst Germany.

Textile Plant – IV

The rapidly growing demand for quality yarns being produced by Ibrahim prompted the group to add another manufacturing facility Textile Plant – IV. The Plant has started its commercial operations during June 2020 and it is based on the engineering and technology supplied by World's leading suppliers i.e. Truetzschler and Saurer Spinning Solutions; Germany and Luwa Air Engineering; Switzerland.

This state of art plant comprises of 100,320 (60 frames of 1,672 spindles each) spindles having yarn production capacity of 32,500 tons per annum.

Product range:

The Textile Spinning Plants of the Company are mainly concentrating on the production of medium to finer counts of pure synthetic yarns (pure polyester yarn and pure viscose yarn) and blended yarns (polyester viscose yarn and polyester cotton yarn). These yarns are being sold in the market under the brand name of Clock Tower.
